01What exactly does E8 Workforce track?+

A browser extension and a desktop agent capture active work time: which apps and sites are in focus, task and project context, and attendance. What is captured is configured per team, documented in writing and visible to every employee. There is no covert keylogging, and screenshots can be disabled entirely.

02How do you handle employee privacy?+

Tracking is transparent by design. Employees see their own data, know when tracking is active and can pause it or flag corrections. Personal browsing categories can be excluded, and because the platform is self-hosted, behavioural data never leaves your servers. We align the setup with Saudi PDPL and NCA principles.

03How do the AI daily recommendations work?+

A private LLM running on your GPU reads each person's recent activity, project deadlines and calendar, then writes a short morning plan: what to tackle first, where time leaked yesterday and which focus blocks to protect. Plans go to the individual first — it is coaching, not scoring.

04How does the payroll integration work?+

Tracked hours reconcile into payroll-grade attendance automatically. From there, E8 Pulse handles salary calculation, splits and bank-file generation — or we export clean attendance data into the payroll system you already run.

05Is the Smartsheet sync really two-way?+

Yes. Tasks, dependencies, dates and GCC holiday calendars sync in both directions, and Workforce stores versioned snapshots of every plan — so you can compare any two versions and see exactly how scope moved.

06Can we share reports with clients?+

Yes. Workforce generates branded PDF and Excel timesheet and progress reports, and issues tokenised client-portal links that give clients a live, scoped view of their projects without needing accounts.
